“I deeply love cinema, so much so that, I want to die when I am in the sets directing a film”, said director Mysskin to the media persons on the next day of the release of his second film ‘Anjathey’. He was visibly relaxed when he met the media persons in Hotel Chariot, located in T. Nagar, Chennai on February 16. The impact of the overwhelming response to his film was evident in his face and speech.

The director, who has joined the prestigious list of directors who make powerful movies, has promised that he would continue to give many films neater than ‘Anjathey’. All that he wants to achieve is to present his thoughts as beautiful celluloid images without any perversions.

He revealed that the creation of ‘Anjathey’ was almost an accident. He began the film because of his anger of not able to make his dream film ‘Nandalala’. The producer withdrew in the last minute when everything was ready and that made Mysskin feel upset and anger. The anger would have put off any other person, who had just finished a single project. But Mysskin was different. He converted the anger into a creative process and started a new project, which has resulted in ‘Anjathey’

The director showered praise on the star cast for their immense cooperation and excellent performances.

Narain, Prasanna and VIjayalakshmi too attended the press meet and delivered brief speeches. Narain said that the role of Sathyavan in ‘Anjathey’ was one of the rare roles he could get to portray in his career.

Mysskin assured the media persons that he would definitely make his dream project ‘Nandalala’ one day or the other. He also confirmed that he is planning to direct a film featuring Vishal in the lead.
